A ----------------------------------------------------------------------- | README file for RMS V7.1E | | Edition: July 2004 | ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This README file for RMS V7.1E contains changes relating to the following manual: /1/ BS2000/OSD-BC V5.0 Utility Routines Edition: March 2002 Order number: U4303-J-Z125-7-76 (Section: RMS, Rep-Montage-System) Contents -------- 1 Command CREATE-DELIVERY-PACKET Page 1 2 Command COMPARE-REPFILE Page 1 3 Notebook management Page 1 4 Entry selection - Products, Loaders, Product-families etc Page 1 A 1 Command CREATE-DELIVERY-PACKET (See manual, page 526) ------------------------------ The command has been updated with new optional parameters. CREATE-DELIVERY-PACKET PRODUCT= *PRODSAVE | productversion/sc [TEXT=*ALL | *NONE | 'textname' | ('textname',...) [,START=*ALL | sc] ] The TEXT parameter controls the list of text levels to include in the delivery. You can either specify a list with the names of the text levels to include or ask to include all or none of them. It is to be noted that the text level 'SK-OPT BESCHREIBUNG' is always included even when it was not requested by the TEXT parameter. The START parameter allows to include only the text levels introduced since a specified supply component. 2 Command COMPARE-REPFILE (See manual, page 529) ----------------------- The command has been updated with new optional parameters. COMPARE-REPFILE ... WITH ... [WITH [REPS] [LONG INFO]] The second WITH parameter controls the information included in the generated report. By default the report only lists the REPs changed in the new REPs collection but LONG INFO permits to include the other ones as well. With REPS the report will also list the definitions of the REPs. 3 Notebook management ------------------- Hardware specific corrections use identifications in which the first letter of the identification known by PULS becomes S for CISC-390, R for RISC-4000 and P for SPARCS. This allows such corrections to coexist in the depot. As the user may not always remember this information, RMS will, when given a PULS identification and where no confusion is possible, look for a corresponding hardware specific version if the original identification could not be found. This concerns the ADD/REJ commands for corrections already present in the depot and the ADD from file command. 4 Entry selection - Products, Loaders, Product-families etc --------------------------------------------------------- The old selection mechanism of marking the desired entries has been replaced. Entries are now selected by entering a '/' or 'x' character in the input field preceding the entry. It is also now possible to move backward as well as forward between the different pages of the list. - 1 -
